Christmas in Nairobi

DAY 1 (23 Dec):  ARRIVAL/TRANSFER
This involves a transfer from the airport to the hotel

DAY 2 (24 Dec): NAIROBI SAFARI, GIRAFFE CENTER & CARNIVORE
It will involve a short drive from Nairobi’s central business district to Nairobi National Park. Vast open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. You can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and walking trails for hikers. Later on, you will proceed to the Giraffe centre – a home to a towering crew of endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, Nairobi’s Giraffe Centre supports conservation work and educational programs across Kenya. Visitors can feed giraffes from a treetop platform, walk a nature trail to the Gogo River, and learn about wildlife; later, you will break for lunch at a carnivore restaurant (lunch cost excluded).

DAY 3 (25 Dec): AT LEISURE
Relaxation at the hotel.

DAY 4 (26 Dec): ADVENTURE
Pickup from the hotel to The Hub- Karen. At the Hub, you will participate in various adventurous activities such; as ziplining which is riding a cable from one point to another using a harness, helmet and a trolley. Second is wall climbing – a  miniaturized form of rock climbing where the participants climb artificial surfaces constructed from wood or other materials and built either indoors or outdoors, and a giant swing  – a complete swing of the body at full arms’ length around a horizontal bar.

After activities, you will be then dropped off back at the hotel.

DAY 5 (27 Dec): NAIROBI CITY TOUR.
Our professional tour guide will pick you up for a city tour. You will proceed to KICC, where you will be taken to the peak of the building- the helipad, where the helicopter can land and have an overall view of the city through all dimensions. Then we will proceed to Nairobi National Museum, the flagship brand for the National Museums of Kenya. The museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, study, document and present Kenya’s past and present cultural and natural heritage. This is to enhance knowledge, appreciation, respect and sustainable utilization of these resources for the benefit of Kenya and the world, for now, and posterity. Finally, we will head to Michuki Memorial Park to see the beautiful scenery as you relax and enjoy the cool breeze and the birds sound from the park.

DAY 6 (28 Dec): TRANSFER.
Transfer from the hotel.
